Description

Robert Half is seeking an SEO Specialist to support our agency client with project-based writing opportunities. The SEO Writer role presents a long term contract employment opportunity in the industry of digital marketing. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for managing both on-page and off-page SEO, content writing, copywriting, keyword optimization, and other SEO best practices to enhance the client's online presence and improve search engine rankings. This is a freelance opportunity offering part time flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

Implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies

Coordinate both on-page and off-page SEO efforts including technical SEO analysis, site analysis, and keyword research

Handle content creation, copywriting, and keyword optimization for the website and blogs

Monitor and analyze SEO statistics such as redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and others

Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Bing, Facebook Insights, and other tools to track and improve performance

Update Google Q& A pages, blogs and other marketing materials with SEO optimized copy

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in SEO and major search engine algorithms

Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search

Optimize Google Q& A's and suggest improvements for ranking and visibility

Conduct SEO audits and implement respective best practices and campaign planning

Collaborate with the design team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.

Requirements

Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role

Proficient in Bing, Facebook Insights, Google Ad, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics

Strong knowledge of AP Style, Auditing, Best Practices, Campaign Planning, and Design

Proven ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting various deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable proposals

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred

Proven record of driving traffic and improving search rankings is a must.
