As Safety & Standard Expert you will report to the R&D and Engineering Director.
Your tasks will mainly consist in taking part in homologation, and security on our machines.
Mission description:
- Perform machines homologation.
- Assist the development engineers about safety integration from the machine’s conception.
- Participate in the machine’s risk analysis in collaboration with multi-technology teams from the launch of the machine design.
- Analyze and respond to the customer’s demands for safety standards.
- Participate to analysis and response preparation to the demands from the inspectors or accident reports.
- Maintain and check if the Technical Files are available and complete regarding the evolution of the machines range.
- Indicate the standards to be followed by the development engineers for the development of new machines or new machine functions.
- Advise the development engineers for the application of these standards.
- Participate in training recommended by the Group Machine Safety Expert.
- Participate to the analysis of the changes in standards to determine the impact of these changes on the company guidelines.
- Engineering degree (HES or Bachelor mechanical / electrical engineering).
- CMSE Certified (continuous training) is an advantage.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.

- French & Advanced English knowledge.
- Willing to travel few days per year.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
