Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

This role plays a vital part in developing worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Channel plans, identifying consumer segments for growth opportunities, and leading seasonal category planning efforts to drive growth across all consumer products, devices, and services. By facilitating collaboration across various teams and supporting Silicon partnerships, this role contributes significantly to Microsoft's revenue, profits, and market share growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the 18-month planning calendar for the Windows Consumer Category Planning Team.
• Work closely with team members to develop workstreams and ensure cross-team visibility.
• Ensure adherence to CSO org-wide seasonal planning calendar.
• Collaborate with Surface, M365, Product Marketing, Channel Sales, and Device Partner Sales teams on alignment calendars and processes.
• Provide support to Silicon lead in partner planning rhythms and execution.
• Drive planning team meeting agendas and morale moments.
• Support individual team members as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• 5-7 years of overall experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in MSFT suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Strong experience in Powerpoint presentations.
• Project management skills with cross-team collaboration abilities.
• Self-management skills with a partner-facing approach and strong communication abilities.
