We are currently looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain. You will drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Axalta’s Technology organization. This role will partner closely with Technology leadership to provide strategic financial insights, optimize budgeting processes, and ensure compliance with financial policies. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead Technology Finance: Conduct detailed financial analysis, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and month-end close activities for global Technology expenses. Identify and document risks and opportunities to drive strategic decision-making. Mentor budget holders to enhance their financial acumen and ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare Related Analyses: Oversee the preparation of financial analyses for business reviews, annual budgets, and senior management presentations. Provide insightful recommendations to the CTO and Global Technology Leadership Team in support of data-driven decision-making. Foster a culture of fiscal efficiency.
- Partner with Technology Vendor Management (VMO): Work closely with the VMO to support financial management, including value leakage prevention, invoice reconciliation, and cost tracking. Ensure financial transparency and optimize vendor relationships.
- Support Technology Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Process: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Technology procurement, facilitating the P2P process and resolving bottlenecks in goods receipt and payment. Streamline processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Enforce Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to Technology purchasing guidelines and financial policies by vendors and internal stakeholders. Promote a culture of accountability and process discipline.
- Financial Management and Reconciliation: Oversee the financial reconciliation of large program and project budgets. Provide strategic direction to enhance budget management, financial control, and cost optimization. Mentor Technology colleagues to strengthen financial acumen across the department.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in Technology Finance within a global organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (SAP, Hyperion, or similar tools).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
