Hybrid Senior EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Operations Analyst - Hybrid na Johnson Controls

What you will do 
The Senior EDI Operations Analyst is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of EDI systems. This role involves analyzing business data needs, developing EDI specifications, and ensuring the efficient and secure exchange of data.

How you will do it 

• Analyze and Understand Business Needs: Translate business data requirements into system specifications.

• Develop and Implement EDI Specifications: Create and maintain EDI mappings and interfaces.

• Testing and Debugging: Ensure the functionality and efficiency of EDI systems through rigorous testing and debugging.

• Monitor EDI Transactions: Ensure timely and accurate processing of EDI transactions.

• Incident Management: Quickly respond to and resolve any issues or disruptions in EDI processes to minimize downtime.

• Technical Support: Provide support and training to users on EDI system operations.

• Coordinate with Trading Partners: Set up new EDI integrations and manage existing ones.

• Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of system changes, updates, and troubleshooting actions.

• Security and Compliance: Work closely with IT teams to ensure data security and compliance with regulations.

• Evaluate and Recommend Improvements: Continuously assess and recommend updates to existing EDI systems.

• Compliance Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure EDI processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Customer Support: Act as a point of contact for customers and trading partners, addressing their EDI-related queries and concerns.

What you will need
Required 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• 5+  years in managing EDI systems, with a strong understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 or EDIFACT.

• EDI software and tools, such as Cleo , Sterling and IBM SCBN and familiarity with data formats like XML, CSV, and flat files.

Preferred

• Experience with ERP systems, programming or scripting languages, and data visualization tools.
