Key Responsibilities:
Develop a robust strategic talent development and succession planning in alignment with functional growth strategies within assigned SURG functions
Management of SURG Global Finance organization
Provide financial leadership to ensure timely and accurate financial planning (e.g. Annual Operating Planning, Strategic Planning, monthly forecasts, Month End Close, Profit and Loss variance analysis and expense management), reporting, and analysis
Partner with SURG executive leadership and provide insightful analysis, guidance, and recommendations for effective prioritization and decision making for new business initiatives
Lead operational improvements and change management. Participate in executive decisions for change to governance, policies, and drive procedures that have immediate effects on the company’s operational and financial results. Work closely with executive level management, negotiating extremely critical financial matters • Management of U.S. Sales Operations
Provide direction to the sales operations organization including the design of the annual compensation plan, market and competitive business intelligence, U.S revenue planning, CRM adoption, pricing, product launch execution, and account planning within the SURG sales operations organization • Management of the Project Management Office (PMO)
Lead a team that manages a variety of top priority BU projects, including new product development and operational improvements while ensuring critical projects are delivered on time, on scope and on budget
Establish and define annual KODs in collaboration with the leadership team
Other incidental duties: Provide the U.S. Finance Team with direction and guidance on corporate policies and financial targets, and resolve conflicts with system processes between the U.S. and its affiliate entities abroad
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in in related field related experience in accounting and planning required and skill levels exceeding the requirements of the Senior Director Required and
Master's Degree or equivalent Demonstrated track record in people management Required
Other: in MBA Experience working in a Healthcare or regulated industry Preferred

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Expert understanding of Finance procedures (accounting, planning, tax, treasury) with broad based business and industry knowledge coupled with high-level knowledge of company
Expert understanding of related aspects of US GAAP and financial processes and/or systems
Expert knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to all aspects of finance with a global sales and marketing region and organization
Knowledge of healthcare industry and business operations within a medical device and regulated environment
Demonstrated ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of ROI and long-term impact on profitability to the business
Serves as core partner to executive leadership in Business Units, Functional Groups, and Regions
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
Ability to work and excel within a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
Serves as a principal spokesperson for the division/subsidiary or group/sector on highly significant matters
Dedicated to quality client service and pro-active and responsive to client needs
Develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness
Provide leadership and direction to large cross-functional teams to successfully implement global enterprise systems and related solutions
Develop relationships and leverage them to influence change
Support and solicit input from team members at all levels within the organization
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
