Accounts Payable Coordinator

100% Remote within California, Must reside in California  

We are seeking a Accounts Payable Coordinator to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. What You’ll Do 

The Accounts Payable Coordinator provides primary responsibility for all phases of accounts payable processing including, vendor file maintenance, invoice, and payment requisition processing, 1099 record maintenance, and accounts payable records management. The Accounts Payable Coordinator provides effective communication regarding accounts payable issues with vendors and staff.

  •  Manage the Accounts Payable function for the Foundation and other organizations the Foundation manages accounting functions for. This includes verifying invoices; coding; obtaining proper approvals authorizing processing; data entry of all AP transactions; serves as liaison with the vendors to ensure discrepancies are handled and billing is accurate and timely.

  •  Maintain and update the system vendor file with changes in addresses, phone numbers and tax identification numbers.

  • Maintain and secure records necessary for 1099 compliance, system vendor file with changes in addresses, phone numbers and tax identification numbers, and maintain records on a weekly basis after processing and ensures ease of retrieval.

Budgeted Hourly Pay Range:

$55,000.00 - $55,000.00

Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
