The Customer Allocation & Delivery Manager will play a critical role in managing demand for key accounts, customer allocation and measuring on-time shipments. This will entail interfacing with various internal teams and customers to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and maintain a customer demand schedule for key accounts.
- Work closely with Revenue Ops to provide inputs into the demand forecasts.
- Manage and optimize product allocation among customers to ensure fair and strategic distribution.
- Work with the sales team to understand customer needs and adjust allocation plans as needed.
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any delays or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate cross-functionally on inventory levels to support customer allocation planning, and on time shipments to customers.
- Serves as a point of contact for inquiries regarding order fulfillment and product availability.
- Implement strategies to increase the percentage of on-time shipments.
- Regularly report on key metrics such demand for key accounts, allocation efficiency, and shipment timeliness.
- Use data to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Revenue Operations, FP&A, Sales, Customer Success, Supply Chain, and Logistics to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction.
- Continuously review and improve planning, allocation, and shipping process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide guidance and support to Sales and Customer Success teams regarding quote creation and configuration;
- Support the deal desk regarding quote pricing & configuration, contract terms, and operational execution.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
- Support Revenue Operations with demand forecasting
- Support process improvement with order fulfillment and logistics planning
- Support the Deal Desk as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business operations department with progressively more authority, preferably within the fleet safety industry.
- Proven experience in business operations, specifically in demand planning, customer allocation, and measuring on-time shipments.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of production flow, planning and inventory management, and documentation procedures
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles.
- Knowledge of inventory management software.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen
- Demonstrated critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills;
- Professional internal skills, including patience, discretion, and confidentiality;
- Excellent organization and time management skills and project management experience.
- Detail oriented and demonstrated accuracy; excellent writing skills preferred;
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
