The Texas Child Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program is seeking dedicated professionals at multiple levels (MSI, MSII, MSIII, and Supervisor) to join our team!

As a TCHATT Clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing direct clinical services to our young patients. You will serve as a vital liaison between patients, physicians, and community resources, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care. Your expertise as a behavioral health clinician will be instrumental in developing, providing, and coordinating comprehensive care plans and direct services in collaboration with schools, primary care facilities, and other key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications for a TCHATT Clinician I: Master’s degree in applicable field AND two years of behavioral health-related experience.

Required License: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate (LPC-A), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist- Associate (LMFT-A) in the State of Texas.

Minimum Qualifications for a TCHATT Clinician II: Master’s degree in applicable field in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other specialty related to job function AND four years of behavioral health-related experience.

Required License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Minimum Qualifications for a TCHATT Clinician III: Master’s degree in applicable field in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other specialty AND six years of behavioral health-related experience.

Required License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Minimum Qualifications for a TCHATT Clinical Supervisor: Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other related field AND six years of behavioral-health related experience.

Required License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Supervisor Credentials (LCSW-S) in the State of Texas, Licensed Professional Counselor with Supervisor Credentials (LPC-S), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Supervisor Credentials (LMFT-S).

Please Note: Clinicians at the Supervisor level will continue to have a significant direct practice component in their workload.

*Compensation and classification are based on the analyses of the above qualifications during the recruitment process.

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Location: This position is a hybrid role and located in Bryan, Texas.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Provides mental health, social work, and clinical services, including detailed psychiatric evaluations incorporating a biopsychosocial history including risk assessment and recommendation for treatment; delivers evidence- based psychotherapy to patients using assessment tools to track patient progress and tailored intervention.

  • Assists with intake and referral systems needs of the program.

  • Provides evaluations and evidence-based treatment for patients. Leads family and patient education. Leads therapy groups.

  • Provides treatment triage and work with other referring organizations and schools for providing better care.

  • Works on providing needed care for on department of psychiatry’s grant funded projects.

  • Leads workshops and seminars as needed. 

  • Serves as the biopsychosocial expert in multidisciplinary care team.

  • Provides specialty consultation to other health care staff.

  • Assumes the responsibility for difficult and complex patients based on experience and area of expertise.

  • Participates in community activities which promote health care. Shares expert knowledge of community resources to coordinate transitions of care.
