We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused Senior Software Engineer to join our award winning on-premise enterprise vulnerability management product Tenable.sc. Tenable.sc enables organizations to address the ever-evolving challenge of understanding and mitigating their cybersecurity risk, while keeping their data under their control. Built on leading Nessus technology, Tenable.sc provides organizations with clear, actionable insights into their data with highly customizable dashboards, reports and workflows. 

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Tenable.sc team, you will be a relentless champion for our customers and a change agent in developing innovative ways to resolve their issues. You will partner with the PM to find ways to improve the product today and help lay the groundwork for tomorrow.

What You'll Need:

• B.E. or M.E. degree in Computer Science or a related field 

• 5+ years of experience in creating well-written application

• Experience with PHP 

• Application development experience on Unix/Linux

• Experience designing, developing, and utilizing Restful API’s

• Experience developing single-page applications in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Strong understanding of design patterns and data structures

• Exposure to the full software development life cycle (SDLC): requirements analysis, design, estimation, development, QC and unit testing

• Experience in CICD tools such as Jenkins

• Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a distributed team

• Experience in working in an Agile team, and an enthusiasm for working collaboratively within and across product teams

And Ideally:

• Preferred, experience with network security systems is a plus

• Preferred, experience with Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat variants

• Preferred, experience with a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) like SQL or Oracle required.
