Osa Kitchen Bar deserves to be discovered. Around a wide bar, you can enjoy exhilarating Japanese cuisine in a pleasantly sober setting. At the helm is Andy Jacques, a passionate entrepreneur. A globetrotter, he has lived in the United States, South Africa and China before moving on to Japan. From his peregrinations, he has brought back many ideas, including that of opening a restaurant based on the "food-drink" concept. Very popular with Japanese after-workers, these typical bar-restaurants reverse the priorities: they offer food to accompany the alcohol: the famous Izakaya. Andy also went home with a Japanese chef, Osaka-born Jeffrey Tanaka (pictured above: some of Osa Kitchen Bar's specialities to share from the menu, which go perfectly with a house cocktail).
