Community Health Network of Connecticut, Inc. (CHNCT) is currently seeking a part-time Data Analyst, Community Affairs & Engagement. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Under the direction of the Director of Community Affairs and Engagement, the Data Analyst serves as a system liaison for dashboard enhancements and data reporting. 
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, updates to the Community Affairs and Engagement dashboards, standardized Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and departmental reports, as well as ad hoc reporting requested by management and the Department of Social Services.
  • The analyst transforms data into meaningful insights to communicate program effectiveness and performance.

Tasks Performed: 

  • The Data Analyst works with Community Affairs and Engagement management team to understand processes and reporting needs; Identify areas for enhancement within the current dashboards and provide data-driven insights to support department goals; Collaborate with CHNCT Business Systems and Data Services to update and enhance new and existing reporting solutions for Community Affairs and Engagement. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Understands the department’s business processes; Produces and interprets reports to help identify programs effectiveness to help with business decisions; Generates ad hoc reports as requested by management and the Department of Social Services

Desired Education: Four years post-secondary schooling

Desired Degree: Bachelor's degree

Desired Major: Computer Science, MIS, or related degree

Desired Job Experience: Minimum of two years of analytical experience in healthcare or medical

insurance; Project and resource management understanding, Projecting objectives, and timelines, and coordinating work across multiple contributors; Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or other related customer management tools.

Other Qualifications: Experience with data analysis and data mining and using data visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau and Power BI. Experience with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of CHNCT personnel. Must be able to work independently and accomplish all tasks required.
