Building Aide – South Lake Middle School
Hours based on student need
Job Goal: To positively represent the school and district while supporting daily operations and fostering a safe, caring learning environment. Responsibilities include general building support and direct supervision of school-aged children.
Minimum Qualifications:
Reports to: Building Principal
Performance Duties & Responsibilities:
Terms of Employment: Class II; Based on student need
(as outlined in current contract)
Compensation: Entrance level: $13.52 - Maximum level: $15.82
Benefits and compensation in accordance with the Paraprofessional Collective Bargaining Agreement.
ADA Requirements: Office and school building environment; sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, carrying medium-weight materials; answer telephones; strong interaction with students, parents and staff; handle district money; paperwork; computer work; filing; sorting.
