Our founder-led products power the entire service lane experience and keep customers coming back with streamlined tools that help you handle communication, workflow automation, touchless payments, valet pickup, and much more. We’re out to simplify the customer journey from start to finish and give power back to the people under the hood, making their jobs easier and your shop more profitable —just ask our over 30,000 customers, who generate more than 50M annual repair orders. At Vehlo, our only purpose is your success, and together, we’re reaching your goals faster than ever.
Being a Veep comes with more than a comprehensive benefits package—our biggest benefit is opportunity: Opportunity to make an impact, opportunity for growth, and opportunity for recognition and rewards. This is not a mega-corporation where you wonder what people are doing all day - every Veep is moving the ball forward day in, day out for our customers or for each other.
We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Manager to lead our distributed DevOps engineering team and drive the modernization of our cloud infrastructure and platform engineering capabilities. This role will be instrumental in designing and delivering a shared services platform strategy that improves automation, centralizes tooling, and enables seamless CI/CD practices across all Vehlo brands. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who thrives on continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Essential functions

- CI/CD Pipeline Management – Establish and oversee continuous integration and deployment pipelines that support all brands, including implementation of automated testing, deployment strategies, and rollback mechanisms in order to ensure high code quality and release reliability.
- Multi-Cloud Resource Orchestration – Manage provisioning, scaling, and decommissioning of resources across AWS, Azure, and on-premise infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates in order to maintain consistency and repeatability.
- Security and Compliance Oversight – Implement and maintain security policies, access controls, and compliance frameworks across all platforms, managing identity access management, encryption, network security, and security best practices.
- Lead a cross-functional DevOps team, establishing best practices, conducting training on multi-platform tools and technologies, and improving processes to enhance team productivity.
Qualifications
Required education and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure in a multi-account, multi-brand environment, or similar platforms like Azure or GCP. AWS experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Strong background in git, service orchestration, and platform engineering.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fully remote, cross-functional environment.
- Passion for servant leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong grasp of metrics and performance analysis to measure the effectiveness of Vehlo’s DevOps platforms.
- Knowledge of APM or observability platforms such as Data Dog, New Relic, or related platforms.
Preferred education and experience:
