Your Key Responsibilities
- Record weekly wage figures and labour transfer journals onto SAP and monthly salaries journal within timescales to enable Financial Accountant to agree journals at month end.
- Reconcile distribution costs weekly by reviewing distribution charges, transport invoices, and distribution costs in the weekly accounts.
- Review invoices daily, identifying those that may impact accrual balances, including utilities and agency labour, for the Financial Accountant.
- Prepare month-end journals, including stock, to assist in preparing month-end accounts.
- Reconcile accrual and prepayment balances monthly to ensure Balance Sheet accuracy.
- Assist Financial Accountant with investigating and resolving variances at month end for balances such as labour, distribution, and utilities.
- Support Purchase Ledger Clerk with daily query resolution when needed.
- Support Financial Accountant and Financial Controller with other reasonable duties as assigned.
