Description
In this position the ideal candidate will perform various clerical and secretarial duties that require knowledge of office routines and an understanding of the organization, programs and procedures related to the work of the office. They must be proactive and be able to work independently. The Secretary III should have exceptional organization and communication skills and be detail-oriented.
In this position the ideal candidate will perform various clerical and secretarial duties that require knowledge of office routines and an understanding of the organization, programs and procedures related to the work of the office. They must be proactive and be able to work independently. The Secretary III should have exceptional organization and communication skills and be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain supervisor’s calendar, schedule appointments, and arrange conference rooms.
- Anticipate and prepare materials needed for meetings, conferences, etc…
- Maintain internal records, such as time and attendance records, leave reports, office equipment records, correspondence logs, and training plans.
- Prepare procurement requests.
- Input of Travel Authorizations.
- Provide meeting support, including preparation of materials and meeting minutes.
- Review publications, regulations, and directives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field or a related field.
- Associate degree in a business field or a related field and at least (3) years of experience
- In lieu of a degree, High School Diploma or GED and at least (6) years of relevant experience.
- Must possess experience working with Microsoft Office Suite. Microsoft product experience should include proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point at a minimum.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior federal government experience is a plus.

SCA Rate: $25.20/hr + $4.57 H&W
