The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and detail-driven Planning Manager to lead inventory planning, purchasing, and vendor management across key merchandise categories. This role plays a critical part in driving sales, optimizing inventory, and supporting cross-functional initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesOwn merchandise planning across sales, inventory, margin, and turn goalsManage cost tracking and pricing analysis for finished goods and componentsOversee vendor relationships, ensuring on-time delivery and performance through scorecards and regular reviewsCollaborate with Product Development, Finance, and Operations on product launches, cost savings, and inventory strategiesLead inventory planning for stocked, special order, and direct-ship itemsPartner with the Hospitality team on large-scale commercial and residential projectsSupport SKU rationalization and liquidation strategiesDrive continuous improvement in planning processes and toolsOther duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or supply chainStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiencyExperience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., JDE, Demantra)Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and cross-functional projectsExperience with both domestic and international sourcing preferredTravel required up to 20%Our Values
