Game Technician - Omaha presso Spare Time Entertainment

Job Responsibilities

• Interact professionally by using Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.).

• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all gaming equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure that their direct supervisor is made aware of any issues, complaints or necessary items needed for the entire amusement area. 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with mechanical, electronic, and software components.
• Perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to ensure timeliness of parts and other items needed to ensure games down time is kept to a minimum.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring adequate supply for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Ensure all games and attractions comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain a sanitary, organized, presentable area, up to and including the laser tag and escape rooms.
• Greet guests, determine needs, explain games, and provide start up instructions, as necessary.
• Patrol gaming area to respond to guest’s needs and take action to correct any problems.
• Monitor guests for rule violations.
• Enforce safety rules and report hazards.
• Report all company violations to management.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ months previous entertainment center, hospitality, or retail experience preferred.

Work Environment

• The noise level can be loud and may contain lighting effects such as lasers and strobes.
• This job requires working with large crowds and children.

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and able to lift 50 pounds.
• This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
