The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Business partner, this role will enhance the partnering function within our Supply Chain Division. They will provide additional support to enhance reporting and to identify efficiencies between commercial and operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting & Analysis Support: Ownership of the preparation of regular and ad-hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders. This will involve data gathering, manipulation, and basic analysis.
- Month End Close: Support the timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities for your assigned cost areas.
- Budgeting & Forecasting Assistance: Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes by assisting with data input, variance analysis, and the consolidation of information.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide initial analysis of performance against targets, highlighting potential variances for the Finance Partner's review.
- Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for reporting and analysis. Assist in the maintenance of relevant financial systems and databases.
- Decision Support Assistance: Providing financial information for decision-making processes, such as basic cost analysis or scenario modeling under guidance.
- Cost Tracking: Monitoring and reporting on costs within the assigned business areas, identifying potential areas for further review by the Finance Partner.
- Process Support: Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and reporting under the direction of the Finance Partner.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Communicating with business stakeholders, providing information and responding to queries as appropriate.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Working on various ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2 years PQE within Industry, with pharmaceutical or supply chain experience desirable.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a good attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data manipulation and basic formulas) with experience with SAP and power BI a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A keen interest in developing a career in finance business partnering.
