Hybrid Application Engineer (Seals) presso Flowserve

Job Summary:

Flowserve is looking for an Applications Engineer (Seals). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications. 
You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Responsibilities:

• Performs tasks associated with new opportunities to enhance assigned products and reduce product cost and/or lead-times to plan

• Understands and properly interprets customer requirements to present/develop drawings to support technical proposal.

• Applies established global and local Flowserve standards for selction, performance, pricing for best solutions

• Identifies correct Flowserve solution to fulfill customer requirements for standard products

• Provides assistance/support to sales group at customer site to replace or change seals.

• Assists in Continuous Improvement (CI) effort

Requirements:

• For Application Engineer. Bachelor of Science Engineering degree or equivalent and/or 2 years related experience

• Technical skills and hands on aptitude

• Report writing and technical memos

• Oral and written communications

• Interpersonal skills

• Basic project management tools and methods

• Accountability and execution for completing work timely and to specifications

• Basic information technology tools including Windows, Microsoft Office products and other related tools

• Intermediate proficiency in English
