Sponsorizzato da DesignlabBarstool Sports is seeking a Yak / Mostly Sports Intern to join our team for the summer. The ideal candidate will assist in the production, social media, and overall execution of The Yak & Mostly Sports, two of Barstool's most iconic live shows. Known for its off-the-cuff humor, wild antics, and hilarious conversations, The Yak has a dedicated fanbase that expects nothing less than the best in content. And covering the daily world of sports and beyond, Mostly Sports is a growing brand with an ever expanding Family of viewers. This internship runs from May 27 to August 29 and is based 100% in our Chicago office.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the daily production of The Yak and Mostly Sports, including setting up the studio, managing technical elements, and ensuring smooth live broadcasts.
- Help clip, edit, and distribute funny moments, highlights, and full episodes across social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter) to maximize audience engagement.
- Collaborate with the production team to create eye-catching, shareable content that embodies the unique tone and personality of The Yak and Mostly Sports.
- Manage social media interactions, responding to fans and helping to create viral moments from live shows.
- Track and report on show performance across platforms, finding opportunities for increasing reach and growing the fan base.
- Work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, in-office, with flexibility for live events and weekend coverage as needed.
What You Have
- A passion for The Yak and Mostly Sports, understanding the show’s unique brand, humor, and audience
- Experience with social media management and engagement—knowing how to drive attention and build hype across platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Basic knowledge of video editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar) and an eye for creating viral moments.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, or similar) or the ability to create graphics for social / on air use.
- Ability to think creatively and help come up with new content ideas that align with the show’s voice.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
- A sense of humor, with the ability to thrive in a high-energy, unpredictable environment.
- A passion for sports, pop culture, and internet trends that feed into the show’s discussions and jokes
A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to adapt to an unpredictable show environment and the ability to do so confidently.
Pay Rate: $16/hr
