What You Get to Do in This Role:
- Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, ensuring optimized query performance and data integrity.
- API Development: Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Work with AWS, Azure, or GCP for cloud-based solutions, containerization, and deployment automation using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Frontend Collaboration: Contribute to frontend development when needed using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Material UI.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following best practices in software development.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize system performance, scalability, and security.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and UX designers to build end-to-end solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
What You Should Have for This Role:
- 1+ years of experience in backend development with Java and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and database design.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Basic knowledge of frontend development (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Node.js.
