To support our growth ambitions, we are looking for a Business Architect to strengthen our team. The business architect provides expert advice to our clients in aligning business strategies with IT solutions. This position involves designing business capability models, providing architectural solutions, and ensuring that IT systems support business goals. The IT Business Architect will work closely with senior business executives to design transformation plans and produce an operating model that integrates business processes, organization, and IT concepts.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a commercial aDinity, excellent consulting and communication skills, strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the latest trends in operating models.

Your role:

• Understand the client’s business strategy and business objectives.

• Assess and analyze client needs and objectives complemented with experience, best practices, and DXC oEerings to develop customized business capability models, value streams and process improvements

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to design and implement architectural solutions / components that align with business objectives.

• Analyze business requirements to determine technological needs and develop strategies for integrating new technologies into existing systems.

• Create/Adapt and maintain an operating model that integrates business processes, organization, and IT concepts.

• Provide architectural guidance and support for business transformation initiatives.

• Evaluate the capacity of the organization to achieve its set objectives and goals,

identifying any limitations and proposing solutions.

• Collaborate with other IT professionals to create detailed project plans and ensure alignment with business strategies.

• Support the risk management process by identifying and assessing the potential risks associated with the proposed architecture and recommending mitigation strategies.

• Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced colleagues.

• Strong business knowledge in one or more sectors (public sector, financial services, utilities, …)• Have convincing discussions with potential clients on the above, lead the solutioning, inspire proposal teams, write commercial proposals and help to sell.

• Act as a trusted advisor towards our clients, develop their interest and trust in DXC

services.

• Be instrumental in expanding our business.

• Provide functional leadership

• Deliver consulting missions with passion, to client satisfaction.

• Lead the functional teams in the elaboration of the designed solutions.

• Responsibility for the quality and pertinence of proposals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Architect preferably in a consulting environment.

• Master in business management, computer science, or equivalent

• High consulting skills and commercial affinity are considered major differentiators.

• You have an entrepreneurial and pragmatic attitude.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with diverse clients and fluency in Dutch, French and English

• Knowledge of one or more client sectors

• Strong knowledge of business and IT architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, process improvement methodologies such as e.g. Lean Six Sigma.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders.

• Experience in developing business capability models, and value streams.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate business processes and IT systems.

• Experience with cloud technologies and digital transformation initiatives.

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture tools and methodologies.

• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
