Simple Technology Solutions is looking for an Senior Project Manager to add to our team.

The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience managing software development projects, specifically low-code solutions, within the government contracting space. This role requires a strategic leader who can oversee project execution, facilitate Agile delivery, manage client relationships, and drive successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing federal software projects, aligning teams with business goals, and leading Agile teams through the full development lifecycle. This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Senior Project Manager at STS will:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and government client needs.
- Serve as both Project Manager and Scrum Master, ensuring Agile best practices are followed while also handling project oversight, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and testers to ensure successful implementation of low-code and automation solutions.
- Remove impediments, foster team collaboration, and ensure development teams can work efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, facilitating clear communication, progress reporting, and issue resolution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with federal contracting regulations and client-specific requirements.
- Continuously assess and refine Agile processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and streamline software delivery.
Education and Experience:
Required
- Bachelors Degree
- 7+ years of experience managing software development projects in a government contracting environment.
- Strong experience with low-code platforms such as Power Platform, Appian, Mendix, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as both a Project Manager and Scrum Master, ensuring Agile delivery while managing project scope, budget, and timelines.
- Experience facilitating Agile teams and ensuring successful sprint execution.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile best practices.
- Experience managing project financials, tracking budgets, and ensuring contract compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile/project management tools.
- PMP, CSM, or SAFe certifications
- Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location
