ABACUS

ABACUS is a mind-changing decision engine used for attribute-based User Authorization and regulatory-driven Preventative Controls across multiple business domains in Deutsche Bank.

As a Senio Java Engineer (f/m/x), you will bring modern technologies and approaches into supporting multiple business domains across Deutsche Bank.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality on Java and optionally Kotlin

• Work with the business and BAs on functional and non-functional requirements

• Design and setup test automation approaches from scratch and improve existing processes/approaches together with QA team

• Investigate and fix production incidents, drive stability and monitoring improvements

• Design and implement subsystems and intersystem protocols, contribute to the longer-term platform architectural vision

Your skills and experiences

• Several years experience and excellent knowledge of Java

• Experience in Kotlin as a nice to have

• Proven track record in high-load distributed system design and fault tolerant applications

• Excellent knowledge of algorithms, complexity, data structures

• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Basic knowledge of of modern Cloud technologies, i.e. k8s, ArgoCD, Grafana Tanka

• Basic knowledge of Linux

• Experience with modern SDLC tools - Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins is a plus
