Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare Medical Imaging Segment is looking for a Senior Physicist to join our Physics team. The position is based at GE Healthcare Waukesha, Wisconsin US.

The Physicist position works in close collaboration with the GE Healthcare Engineering team, research sites, and clinical partners to develop new product applications and support ongoing activities.

Job Description

Role Summary:  The senior physicist will work in close collaboration with the GE Healthcare Engineering team, research sites, and clinical partners to assess system performance, support product applications and support ongoing activities.
Essential Responsibilities: Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Combining knowledge of physics to deliver new products based on gamma detection technology
  • Implement system knowledge and multidisciplinary knowledge to optimize detection performance.
  • Handson comprehensive system knowledge and testing procedures
  • Working with customers in a strong collaboration with good customer face attitude
  • Use broad expertise in physics to help resolve urgent issues and support product, Field engineers & Marketing with current and future Nuclear Medicine products
  • Evaluating and extending new concepts as well as providing innovation which can be developed into new product advantages.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • PhD in Physics
  • 5 years of experience in the field, prefer Molecular Imaging industry
  • Strong physicist from familiar university
  • Excellent Hands on capabilities
  • Strong communication capabilities and Fluent English
  • Experimental Physicist
  • Excellent Matlab coding knowledge
  • Demonstrated record of innovation in regulated area - Advantage
