Position Summary:
IDEAYA Biosciences is seeking an experienced biopharmaceutical lawyer for the position of Vice President, Legal and Compliance, reporting directly to the General Counsel of the company. This role will primarily support the Company’s commercial function and work very closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the commercial team. This role will also be responsible for the expansion and continued implementation of the company’s compliance program. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the biotechnology industry, specifically in oncology. The VP will work with the General Counsel to partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the company operates in compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards while driving operational efficiency to support the company’s growth. The ideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with the business across various departments and with senior commercial, scientific, regulatory, and finance leaders.
This position is based in our South San Francisco headquarter offices and required to be onsite four days per week per our company policy.
