Job Description:

The PEAKS COLAB on Communication for Social Justice at Regis College is seeking a self-motivated, independent, and creative-minded student with a passion for storytelling, media production, and social justice. The ideal candidate will be engaged in both research and media production to support Soul Food — a transmedia project exploring the deep connections between food, memory, identity, resistance, and resilience.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Archival Research: Gather and organize historical and cultural data of selected recipe/ dishes that contributes to the stories within the Soul Food project.

• Media Production: actively engage on the production and postproduction process of video content that captures personal, and community stories related to food and cultural identity.

• Interview Transcription: Transcribe interviews and organize primary sources to support research and nar​

Benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30  hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year. rative development.
