SUMMARY:

This position will support the Case Ready Value-Added business unit in activities essential to the function and workflow of project development and management to meet volume and financial goals.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

  • Manage current projects that are ongoing within the Case Ready Value-Added business unit. To include communicating with key stakeholders of the project, keeping projects on track, documenting the progress of the project, and updating project tracker.
  • Facilitate new product development by coordinating specifications and initiating NPD and Master Request System (MRS) request.
  • Manage communication with R&D, FSQA, sales and labeling teams for regulatory requirements and final approvals.
  • Coordinate with internal and external labeling and packaging associates for new development or existing packaging modifications, inventory management, and tracking of cost records.
  • Map logistics including order-delivery schedule, use of warehouse and distribution selection and management, and freight cost optimization.
  • Proactive analysis of product inventory management including communication with sales for age inventory resolution, balancing with scheduling demand to weeks-on-hand, prioritizing with operations and scheduling on essential inventory requirements.
  • Engage and lead cross-functional teams for assigned projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Experience: One plus years business operations experience preferred. CRVA or retail experience a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft, ORP and SAP.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and people skills.
