Work You’ll Do

As a junior team member, your initial focus will be on honing necessary skills to operate alongside other practitioners.

  • You will also focus on supporting the group and actively participate in the testing phase of a technology deployment
  • We will introduce you to our tools standards and best practices
  • You will have the opportunity to develop skills in technology testing support and management
  • You will work with a Senior Testing Lead to learn how to develop test strategy and plans, oversee defect management, and support testing cycles

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in progress at a CUNY school with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future
  • Must possess strong MS Office experience, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • This internship is designed to provide you with valuable experience and skills that can strengthen your candidacy in the broader job market. Full-time roles on this team have additional qualifications requirements, including a four-year college degree. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a basic understanding of software development and testing concepts (such as SDLC, STLC, defects, test cases)
  • Understanding of testing cycles and methodologies (E2E, UER)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate is $30/hour.
