We offer thatDue to continued growth, we are hiring an AI Portfolio Manager in Cork. emagine is a high-end professional services consultancy and solutions firm specialising in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors.Are you intrigued? Do you want to learn more?The AI manager will be responsible for operationally driving the AI agenda forward, leveraging current ways of working and current governance structures. You will collaborate across teams to drive the AI strategy and maturity, managing the AI strategy portfolio, AI thought leadership, and executive stakeholder relationship management.A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of AI Strategy and oversee the AI portfolio.
  • Coordinate AI initiatives through the logistics of the demand management, Innovation, and portfolio management process to ensure AI initiatives are appropriately prioritised, funded, and staffed.
  • Lead the identification and prioritisation of AI initiatives that have the potential to deliver significant business value.
  • Manage the collection and documentation of AI project requests and communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements.
  • Assess and prioritise AI projects based on value, feasibility, and alignment with strategic goals, and planning resource allocation.
  • Oversee project execution, track performance issues, provide updates to stakeholders, collaborate closely with business units to understand challenges, and champion the adoption/development of AI solutions that drive tangible value.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies, tools, and methodologies, and assess their relevance and applicability.
  • Track and aggregate reporting on the value of AI initiatives.
  • Promote AI literacy and education across the business

Requirements:
  • Degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years’ experience working with AI program/portfolio management.
  • Experience implementing AI strategy, AI standards and policies, AI governance, Gen AI tech solutions/platform, ML & LLM Ops…
  • Proven track record of leading AI initiatives from concept to implementation, including use case identification, project management, and ROI tracking.
  • Experience designing/implementing training programs to enhance organizational AI literacy, fostering an AI-first mindset across business units.
  • Experience running Proofs of Concept (POCs) and Proofs of Value (POVs) to demonstrate AI capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business units, and executive leadership.
  • Experience in a utility, energy, or infrastructure environment is a plus.
