Nycom is looking for a talented Revit Modeler II to join our team working remotely from home or in one of our main offices in Midlothian, VA, Morrisville, NC, or Acworth, GA.

This is an ideal position for a graduate of a Drafting, Construction Management, or Architectural Technology program with 2-4 years of experience. If you are motivated to succeed, detail oriented, and looking for a challenging career, then we want to talk to you.

Description

The Revit Modeler II is responsible for independently modeling and drafting construction submittals for a variety of product lines including Millwork/Casework and Specialties. They will work with a variety of internal teams to create detailed and accurate shop drawings from architectural drawings. They will draw custom millwork items like wall paneling, soffits, reception desks, moldings, countertops and casework.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret architectural drawings to generate shop drawings for various project types and sizes.
  • Complete shop drawings in a timely manner and according to our company standards.
  • Managing information, maintaining notes, documentation and making sure your questions are answered when needed utilizing our propriety software.
  • Manage schedules and priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Independently solve problems in close coordination with members of the project team.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Revit as a drawing management tool
  • 2-4 years of experience. Experience in modeling custom Millwork is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Degree in Drafting, Construction Management, or Architectural Technology or related field is a plus.

Salary Description

55,000 to 65,000 annual plus incentive plan
