Provides the full range of attendance intervention services to schools and centers; performs specialized attendance interventions in an educational setting; and systematically collects, analyzes, synthesizes, and interprets information needed to devise appropriate service plans for students with chronic attendance problems.

Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.
- One (1) year of experience in attendance intervention services or related field.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Possession of an appropriate, valid motor vehicle operator's license with a good driving record.
- Knowledge of family system theory, practice and procedures.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Diagnostic skills, analytic ability, and adaptability to changing needs.
- Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to gain the confidence and cooperation of students, teachers, and families.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with other professionals within the school and the community.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
- Professional certification.
