Provide industry-leading advanced applications support for the development of GEHC MR scanners and applications, while working with GEHC Engineering teams to develop post-processing features by providing clinical input from customers. Act as a clinical “voice of the customer”, continually ensuring that GEHC product solutions meet customer requirements. Provide specialized technical support to GEHC program teams, assist with customer complaints, and participate in various new product introduction (NPI) related activities, driving end-to-end MR examinations throughout GEHC’s U.S. Healthcare operations. Provide clinical support during the development of GEHC’s MR products and technologies. Evaluate the performance and quality of new MR features throughout internal development processes by designing protocols, as well as driving installation and testing activities. Assist with the resolution of customer technical complaints, investigations, and ultimately offer product solutions to customers throughout GEHC’s U.S. Healthcare operations. Develop clinical competitive intelligence to support the field with counter arguments and selling advantages to ensure our competitive stance within the marketplace, while supporting scientific congresses, customer seminars, and internal training events. Ensure that high-quality MR training is delivered to GEHC field applications teams and sales marketing teams, driving advanced technical knowledge in this area. Ensure that all processes within their purview adhere to strict internal, as well as industry, standards, requirements, and regulations, and will prove to be invaluable to our organization in this key specialized knowledge capacity.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Associate's degree or equivalent in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or related. Five (5) years of hands-on experience within the medical industry, in MRI Clinical, Research Imaging, or a combination thereof. Employer will accept pre- or post- degree experience including pre-Associate's degree. Academic internship or work experience to include: Performing MRI procedures on human subjects with 1.5T and 3.0T MRI systems; and Performing MRI procedures on competitor MRI systems including: Siemens, Philips, or United. Must have active certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or global equivalent (within the subfields of Radiography, Medical Imaging, or MRI) at the time of hire and continue to hold active certification throughout employment. Approximately 10% domestic and 10% international travel required to unanticipated customer sites and tradeshows to provide customer support (training, engineering, or marketing support).
