Job Description

Position purpose

Responsible of all accounting aspects and compliance. Good quality and integrity of the Financial Statements.

Responsible to maintain the general ledger, prepare financial reports, perform research and analysis, review account reconciliations, assist with audit preparations to ensure and monitor compliance with company-wide accounting policies and procedures. Utilizing hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles.

Major/Key responsabilities

• Ensure accounting books with good quality and support documentation.
• Attend and follow up to all topics relates to month and year end closing.
• Prepare financial reports and requirements in key deadlines as quarterly and biannual end.
• Prepare monthly financial analyses and reports and variance explanations.
• Reviewer of balance sheet accounts reconciliations and follow up to open items.
• Attend to external and internal audits.
• Prepare journal entries, maintaining the general ledger and ensure accuracy in all accountancy records.
• Coordinate complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures. Process automation.
• Knowledge in local GAAP vs IFRS
• Apply and coordinate local GAAP accounting vs reporting.
• Control and admin checks from customers.
• Control and coordinate power of attorney for the country.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting required.

4+ years of accounting experience.

Working knowledge Local GAAP.

3 years of experience in one of a Big 4 accounting firm.

Skills and knowlegde

Analytic

Well organized

Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and strong financial analysis skills.

SAP knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel

Detail-oriented

Highly organized

Proactive and with initiative

Able to work with little supervision and perform under pressure
