Your Role:

The Senior Director of Product Management will be responsible for global product management activities from concept/vision, to strategic product planning, to product definition, to tactical execution.
The Senior Director is also responsible for managing new and existing product development processes through the lifecycle from conception to launch to evaluation along with a team of product managers who drive the brand, features and overall user experience. This person will direct a team to define new product strategy, new features, prioritize and align product roadmaps, and manage product release cycles.
Your Opportunity:

  •  Work with Product Leaders to define cross product and platform level initiatives
  • Work closely with the Product Leaders to define, refine and advance product vision, scalability and value
  • Work with Product Leaders to ensure product releases meet tight deadlines, own release schedule, release notes, demonstrates pre-release products to internal team
  • Define the overall product and experience for users and own and publish the product roadmap, changes to the roadmap
  • Support product integrations approved by strategy 
  • Write requirements/specifications for all new product features and additions to existing features
  • Work with engineering to make trade-offs based on development feasibility/cost versus product/business impact
  • Own product metrics
  • Serve as the internal and external voice for product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key partners
  • Provide technical leadership to the product team and nurture staff to define and deliver high quality results
  • Drive a solution set across development teams through market, product and positioning requirements
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time 

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of recent experience working in a leadership role in product management and at least five years specifically in the software industry preferably enterprise network security
  • Strong leader with a successful track record managing a product team
  • Hands-on development skills with the ability to roll up your sleeves and work alongside our engineers and product managers
  • A strong understanding of customers' core needs and motivations, and know how to identify them and turn them into actionable requirements
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven success in establishing key performance indicators, metrics, and focus to drive product marketing best practices
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Some travel may be required

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance. $229,500$306,166.67 USD
