The Snow Removal Operator is responsible for providing comprehensive snow removal and ice control services throughout the resort, including parking areas, roadways, and high-traffic zones. Operating heavy equipment such as loaders, graders, and snow blowers, this position plays a critical role in maintaining safe and accessible conditions for guests and employees during winter operations.
Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, the Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.
Responsibilities:Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Clear snow and ice from parking areas, resort roadways, walkways, and other designated zones to ensure safe passage for vehicles and pedestrians
- Operate loaders, graders, snow blowers, and other heavy equipment with precision and care
- Fulfill hauling and dozing needs for other resort departments as requested
- Apply de-icing materials and sand as needed to prevent hazardous conditions
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust snow removal priorities accordingly
- Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance tasks
What we are looking for:
- Willing and able to work 10+ hour shifts as needed, including extended hours during severe weather events
- Able to safely work around and operate heavy equipment in winter conditions
- Willing to work early morning, late evening, and overnight shifts on a regular basis
- Willing to work holidays and weekends as required by operational needs
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in an alpine winter environment with exposure to cold temperatures, wind, and snow

Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $25.00 to $26.00 DOE
This is a non-benefited role.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
