About the role
Rippling’s KYC and onboarding platform is the first step in every customer and employee journey. This role is focused on building a seamless, automated, and data-driven onboarding experience across all Rippling products. You’ll design systems that make it effortless for users to get started while ensuring we accurately verify and activate the right customers.
As Product Lead for Onboarding & KYC, you’ll be responsible for creating platform-level experiences and internal tools that streamlines and automates how Rippling vets and onboards customers. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to deliver a unified onboarding experience—leveraging Rippling’s data layer to automate workflows, improve decisioning, and provide clarity for both customers and internal teams.
This is a high-impact role that shapes the first impression users have with Rippling’s ecosystem.
What you will do
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Rippling’s onboarding and KYC (“Know Your Customer”) platform
- Design scalable internal frameworks that enable consistent onboarding experiences across multiple products and geographies
- Develop internal tools and review systems that power customer verification, communication, and onboarding operations
- Establish clear information hierarchies and workflows that guide internal teams and customers through the onboarding journey
- Leverage Rippling’s data layer to automate KYC checks, reduce friction, and personalize onboarding at scale
- Partner with compliance and risk stakeholders to ensure onboarding systems align with regulatory expectations while maintaining best-in-class UX
- Integrate and optimize vendor systems (e.g., identity verification, document collection, case management) as part of the onboarding experience
- Collaborate across products to ensure consistency in onboarding logic, data models, and customer experience throughout the platform
What you will need
- 8+ years of product management and/or founding experience
- General understanding of KYC, KYB and identity management processes
- Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive, scalable systems and experiences
- Self-starter with a bias towards action and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work on multiple products and features at once, across teams
- Thrives in understanding complexity and transforming it into simple user experiences
- Deep technical, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication & organizational skills
- Strong ability to motivate and inspire people to do their best work
- Relentlessly focused on customers’ needs
- Strong alignment with Rippling's leadership principles, particularly “Push the limits of possible,” “Challenge each other directly,” and “Go and see”
