Description

Reserv is an incubating cutting-edge AI and automation technology focused on bringing efficiency and simplicity to insurance claims by redefining claims adjusting. Founded by insurtech veterans with deep experience in SaaS and digital claims – and venture-backed by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures – Reserv began operations in May 2022 and has rapidly expanded.

About the role

Reserv is looking for a dedicated and self-motivated People Operations Generalist to join our People Operations Team. We are a fast-paced, remote, global organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering a positive work culture, ensuring compliance, and driving excellence in People Operations. As a People Operations Generalist, you will be responsible for managing the entire employee life cycle, which includes onboarding, internal operations, and enhancing the employee experience. For this position, you must reside in the US, excluding California, Hawaii, and Alaska.

What we need

  • Help facilitate People activities throughout the entire cycle of an employee's time at Reserv, from onboarding to addressing HR questions during their tenure and through to offboarding.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition stakeholders to gather the necessary information for onboarding employees and ensure accurate entry in the HR Information System (HRIS), in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Ensure best in class onboarding for new team members
  • Act as a point of contact for team members, addressing questions and assisting employees with their inquiries.
  • Work with the PEO support team to respond to employee questions regarding the services provided by the PEO as they arise.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding core HR data and projects.
  • Support the delivery of HR programs and processes related to workforce planning, employee engagement, performance reviews, promotion processes, and talent development, particularly in a remote environment.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to increasing the overall efficiency of People Operations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and keep informed about relevant changes.
  • Maintain and update internal HR documentation and policies.

Requirements

  • Proficient with HR systems (bonus points for experience with Rippling)
  • High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good intuition, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently to manage multiple ongoing projects and programs with high attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Decisive problem solver with a "get it done" attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Exceptional ethics around confidentiality and highly sensitive information
  • Keen to continue learning and developing their skill set, having a growth mindset
  • Passionate about people
  • Proficiency with tech tools: Apple Computer, Google Suite, and Slack.
  • Ready to hit the ground running!

Bonus Points:

  • Successful track record of implementing scalable processes

Benefits

  • Generous health-insurance package with nationwide coverage, vision, & dental
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
