Opportunity:

Propel Schools is seeking a Varsity Cheerleading Head Coach for the 2025-2026 school year for each of the following locations:

• Propel Montour High School
• Propel Braddock Hills High School 
• Propel Andrew Street High School 

Successful candidates will have:

• Prior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experience
• Preferred candidates will have experience as a head coach, experience in performance and routine development, with the demonstrated ability to build a successful program at the varsity level
• Experience in supporting athletic teams during contests
• Understanding of music copyright laws
• Understanding of PIAA Competitive Spirit regulations
• Understanding of how to build school morale and school spirit
• High level of personal organization and planning
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
• A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel

Requirements:

• Up-to-date TB Test
• Act 34 Criminal Clearance
• Act 114 FBI Clearance
• Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
• Mandated Reporter Training

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
