Your Team Responsibilities

The HedgePlatform Production Team operates within MSCI’s Hedge Fund Transparency business, which collects hedge fund positions, ensures data quality, and processes positions through MSCI’s risk analytics engine. The result is to provide hedge fund investors with risk insights without exposing position-level detail.

Our team is responsible for the accurate and timely processing, validation, and release of fund data across a diverse set of hedge fund strategies. We work under tight deadlines to ensure SLA compliance, coordinate closely with QA and controls, and support audit readiness. By maintaining operational stability and resolving production exceptions, we help deliver consistent, high-quality outputs to both internal stakeholders and clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily production workflows related to hedge fund data processing, exception handling, and fund delivery.

  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely release of fund data in alignment with internal controls and SLAs.

  • Collaborate closely with QA, controls, and cross-regional teams to resolve data quality issues.

  • Coordinate with fund managers and data providers to meet delivery timelines and maintain service continuity.

  • Contribute to the platform’s operational stability by monitoring metrics, clearing rejects, and flagging risks proactively.

  • Respond to internal and external ad-hoc requests tied to fund production, data integrity, or reporting queries.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid understanding of hedge fund structures, global markets, and investment instruments including derivatives.

  • Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with complex datasets and reconciliation tasks.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional, global teams.

  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Background in finance, economics, or a related field; familiarity with market data systems and risk analytics is a plus.
