About the role 
We are looking for a passionate Sous Chef who strives for excellence in a fast-paced work environment.  This position reports to our Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef. 

 

What you will do 

Supervise and oversee the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner food items per guest orders or as assigned by kitchen management in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. 

 

What you bring 

•   High School education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience. 

•   Minimum three years culinary or related work experience.  

•   Advanced culinary knowledge is expected for this position.  

•   Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job. 

•   Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, 

and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.  

•   Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.  

•   Requires the ability to operate and utilize culinary production equipment and tools.  

•   Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. 

•   Hawaii Food Handler Card  

•   Tuberculosis Clearance 

•   ServSafe (within 3 months)

•   Salary Range: $88,000 - $97,335 

 

Schedule & Hours 

•    Full time 

•    The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
