About the role:

As a Simulation Modeling Engineer you will develop new models and maintain existing models.

You will report to the Modeling Maintenance Supervisor and be located in Madrid.

Hybrid work schedule.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop new simulation models

  • Maintain existing models

  • Specifications and validation testing

  • Communicate with clients during testing, FAT, SAT

  • Integrate models in simulation environments

  • Software architecture for simulators

  • Connection with Distributed Control Systems (OVATION, PLCs, SIEMENS, MarkVI, Experion)

  • Develop communications with API

  • Source Code control (GIT, DevOps)

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar

  • 1+ years of experience in similar role

  • English proficiency

  • Basic programming (C++, Fortran)

  • Simulation environments (Matlab, Simulink)

  • Best estimate modeling codes for thermohydraulic processes, neutronics, phenomenology of containment (RELAP, TRACE, TRAC, NESTLE, GOTHIC)

  • Nuclear electrical engineering production processes

  • Distributed Control Systems (OVATION, Experion, MarkVI, SPPA-T2000 (Siemens), Honeywell)
