Duties
Develops policies and procedures, and monitors the use of appropriated and nonappropriated fund resources impacting MWR activities.,Serves as principal financial advisor to NAF managers as directed.,Develops and implements plans and policies for use of resources,Exercises financial oversight for installation private organizations, and certifies availability of funds for substantial expenditures
Qualifications
1. Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems; 2. Interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; 3. Applying commercial budgeting techniques. Supervisory experience directing technical and professional financial management operations. Best Qualified Criteria: 1. Prior leadership experience directing one or more DFMWR Support Management branch at garrison, Region, or HQ for at least 1 year. 2. Experience and knowledge of development, implementation and execution of budgets, internal controls, manpower, financial reporting, and audit readiness 3. Demonstrated knowledge of NAF accounting principles, DoD policies and Army regulations and experience developing plans and policies in accordance with directed resource Referral lists are based on the qualifications stated in the job announcement. Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
