The Ten-Minute Trainer Network — a joint venture between Swagger Institute and P1 Learning — is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across associations, chambers, equity and capital groups, sponsorships, and new product categories. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build new markets, revenue streams, and partnerships while working alongside two established industry leaders.

Location: This position is flexible across our company footprint.

Ten-Minute Trainer delivers short, high-impact training programs for today’s busy professionals. Covering sales, leadership, HR, compliance, and safety, we partner with state and national associations, chambers of commerce, and professional organizations across multiple industries.

What You’ll Do

• Build and grow relationships with decision-makers in associations, chambers, and industry groups.
• Engage equity and capital groups for partnership and growth opportunities.
• Sell Ten-Minute Trainer content subscriptions and licensing packages.
• Develop sponsorships for:
  1. The Speed & Swagger Show
  2. Rising Above Virtual Summit
  3. Category sponsorships (digital, safety, leadership, etc.)
  4. New joint initiatives and product categories.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and launch innovative revenue opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of B2B sales success — ideally with associations, chambers, training, sponsorships, or equity/capital group partnerships.
• Proven relationship-building, prospecting, and closing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating across two organizations.
• Bonus: Experience selling professional development, online learning, or sponsorship packages for events/virtual summits.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: Commensurate with experience.
• Commission: Tiered commissions based on new sales, renewals and growth in renewals.
• Performance Bonus: Annual, tied to revenue and account growth
