Our Mission:

Enable individual persons who have serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorder and/or a dual diagnosis of SMI and IDD live a life that is meaningful to them in the community on terms they define

Hours: Full-time, with rotating shifts. Coverage includes overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed to maintain 24/7 security.Summary of Job Duties:

1. Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including parking lots, office buildings, and entry points, to identify potential risks.
2. Monitor and operate surveillance cameras and alarm systems to ensure real-time awareness of security conditions.
3. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
4. Enforce security protocols, including verifying IDs, controlling building access, and managing visitor logs.
5. Perform routine inspections of doors, windows, and equipment to prevent unauthorized access or damage.
6. Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and observations.
7. Provide clear guidance to employees and visitors on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
8. Assist in evacuations or other emergency actions when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is strongly preferred.
2. Exceptional attention to detail and situational awareness.
3. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
4. Ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies or high-pressure situations.
5. Proficiency in operating surveillance systems, security software, and communication tools.
6.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills for creating reports and interacting with individuals.
7. Physical fitness to handle patrolling, standing for long periods, and responding to incidents quickly.
8. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in security, such as CPR or First Aid, are a plus.
