Morrow County Health District in Heppner, Oregon has a full-time opening for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Heppner, Oregon
The CFO will be responsible to follow established procedures and maintain the District Accounting Systems for the control of District assets and the preparation of complete and accurate financial information records. The CFO will oversee all financial operational functions of the District. Also provides oversight, with the CEO, for Willow Creek Valley Assisted Living Corp finances, budgeting, and insurance coverages. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to accomplish a variety of work with various groups of people, including physicians, patients and family members, personnel from other hospitals, clinics, healthcare organizations and facilities, co-workers as well as the general public. A demonstrated understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures is required. Must be able to interact with others in a thoughtful and professional manner.
Job Details:
- Monday-Friday
- Salary: $163,440-$184,917
Qualifications:
- Master’s or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field is preferred. Master’s degree preparation would be in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Accounting and Management is required.
- Experience in working within the specific financial and operational constraints of a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) is highly valued.
- Experience in healthcare finance including revenue cycle management, expense control, budgeting and financial reporting is essential. CPA designation or experience in CAH hospital finance are highly valued.
- Certifications such as CPA or Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) are helpful but are not required.
- Candidate must be able to be bonded.
