Position Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager to oversee the accuracy, accountability, and flow of materials within our warehouse facilities. This role will focus on inventory control, auditing, and process improvement to ensure our production teams have the right materials, in the right place, at the right time. The Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager will maintain stock integrity, drive efficiency, and uphold a safe, compliant, and well-organized environment.


Key Responsibilities 

  

Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Lead all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, tracking, storing, and issuing materials.
  • Implement and monitor strict inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage, errors, and inefficiencies.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and physical inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Partner with procurement and production to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock availability for projects

Warehouse Operations & Organization

  • Develop and maintain workflows that support efficient material handling and space utilization.
  • Establish systems to streamline labeling, storage, and movement of materials.
  • Monitor inventory system data entry to ensure timely and accurate updates.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and train warehouse staff with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and adherence to inventory control standards.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of safety, responsibility, and continuous improvement.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies through training and audits.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Oversee proper equipment use and coordinate necessary maintenance or repairs.

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Ops Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the home remodeling or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Commitment to workplace safety and a track record of maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed, with a focus on maintaining proper ergonomics and safety standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials and products up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or stairs as necessary for inventory management and warehouse activities.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling tools.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical activity.
  • Ability to visually inspect inventory, read labels, and use warehouse management technology accurately.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily works in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and lighting conditions.
  • May be required to work near moving mechanical parts, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Standard office environment for administrative tasks, including computer work, meetings, and phone/email communication.
  • Must follow all safety protocols
  • Position may require occasional travel between warehouse locations or to job sites.
