Qualifications:
NJ Teacher of Handicapped or Teachers of Students with Disabilities Certificate with appropriate elementary/subject teaching certificate
Appropriate Science Certificate Required; Math Certification Preferred
Effective instructional practices and strategies; have exprertise with students who experience multiple disabilities
Understanding of Individual Educational Plans
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to manage students' behavior.
Must be able to work collaboratively with classroom teacher and education services staff to support students.
Must be reliable and of good moral character.
Must meet criminal background check.Working Conditions: Full Time Tenure Track
Salary: Ranges from $62,360.00-$106,825.00 (Prorated)
Per Negotiated Contract (p. 41)
Benefits include: 12 sick days and 6 nonwork days (Prorated)
