Overview:
Utilizes nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide comprehensive, age appropriate nursing care for low acuity assigned patients. Assists with the shift supervision of nonprofessional personnel as necessary.
6 Hall is a 16-bed, general medical/surgical unit that specializes in infectious diseases. When isolation is required, any room on the unit can be used. There are two special isolation rooms, equipped with ante-rooms and special ventilation capabilities, which can be used for airborne-transmitted diseases. Patients range in age from neonates to 18 years. We occasionally treat young adults.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.50/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home:
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
